3.     For students that may not be working on their section at this time, students will continue to work on their Weather Books. (Day 1 and 2)

QUESTIONS & EXAMPLES:

Students will select the weather types to be depicted.  Types include; sunny, windy, partly cloudy, rain/thunderstorm, tornado, hurricane.  Although questions will be prompted by teachers, students will be given a guide sheet to help them focus on the type of weather they have selected.  Information will include, types of clothing, seasons, type of activities best suited to, and characteristics of the weather, (clouds, rain, lightning, wind, etc.)

CLOSURE:   Students will show their section to the class, and discuss what they have included.  Groups will write a few facts about their weather on an index card, to be posted with the mural.  When all sections are dry, the mural will be displayed in the hall.

INDIVIDUALIZATION:  We will use a variety of art mediums so every student can contribute to the mural regardless of artistic abilities. Groups will be organized so that there will be a cross selection of student skills.  The goal is not artistic talent, but participation, and conveying the information they have learned.
